Stylish Blogger Award

Breakout Books has received a Stylish Blogger Award. A big thank you to Karen Wojcik Berner. Karen has been a writer/editor for 25 years, ten of which were spent in editing trade publications. A two-time Folio Magazine “Ozzie Award for Excellence in Magazine Editorial and Design” winner, her work also has appeared in The Chicago Tribune and countless regional newspapers. She has bachelor's degrees in English and communication arts and sciences. A Whisper to a Scream is her first novel. To learn more about Karen, please visit her website, Bibliophilic Blather .

For this award, I have to share seven things about myself, so here goes.

1. My favorite author is Steve Alten. We have emailed back and forth several times, which I consider to be a great honor. He is a really nice guy.

2. The only sport I like to watch on television is Nascar. And yes, I do consider it a sport.

3. My husband recently bought me a motorcycle which I will be learning to ride very soon. (probably within the next few days) We will be riding out to Sturgis together this year.

4. My mother was my best friend and I will miss her terribly. I'm pretty sure that when I say I had the best mother in the world, it's not just because I'm biased. She really was the best.

5. I have never had a speeding ticket in my entire life.

6. I think my home state of SD is the prettiest place on earth. (OK, with this, I am probably biased. LOL)

7. My favorite place to eat is Fusa. I love the walnut chicken and the coconut bubble tea.

Now, I pass the Stylish Blogger Award to the following blogs.

1. J.C. Phelps Blogspot

2. Two Ends of the Pen

3. Kip Poe's Blogspot

4. Spalding's Racket

5. Mindful Musings

6. Book Chat

7. Up Authors
